We live up Bridger canyon road. we have to pass bicyclers daily. Most of them if riding with another biker, do NOT care about vehicle traffic, they figure we will go around them! It is not only dangerous but very madning too see there lack of concern of vehicle traffic. We have to abide by the laws on road ways, but still are expected to give them the right of way. This is a bunch of bull. The speed limit on that road is 70 miles an hour, but once again we are expected to slow way down till they get out of the main traffic lane. They need to stay on the right side of the white line, or pick a road that is not so heavily traveled, or the city needs to build them a bike lane!!

I wasn't able to watch any of the main Rodeo, but the Head to Head machup between MSU and U of M - West was great! It was a great show and a great opertunity for family's at a very affordable price. I hope they keep doing it. I normaly just like to watch the Bull riding, but I have to say I enjoyed all of it.

I am wondering if anyone has any ideas on why this community doesn't get behind and support high school athletics more than it does? This thought occured or renewed itself when they had the Class C basketball state finals in Belgrade about a month ago. Some communities had half their towns here, it seemed. We have a lot of other things going on here with college sports, and other recreational opportunities. But the high school generally has a good "product" for most sports, and the Legion baseball team has a great facility. These are kids playing for the love of the sport. They aren't playing for tuition or money. Yet it seems like it's parents and relatives that are the only ones in the stands.
A pass or a family pass is the best value around.
In Billings, with 4 high schools, high school sports are huge. The local paper sponsors a website just for prep sports. What gives with Bozeman?

It is time to gear up for spring. So for all your cycling needs visit the Bike Swap on April 19 at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds. The Gallatin Valley Bike Club sponsors an annual bike swap which is open to the general public on Saturday, April 19 from 11am to 1pm. If you are hoping to sell stuff, it must be at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds between 8 to 10am that morning. Swap organizers note that a variety of items are generally brought in for consignment including kid bikes, bike trailers, mountain bikes, and competitive racers. A percentage of the sales supports the Gallatin Valley Bike Club, a non-profit organization that provides recreational and competitive activities for area cyclists.

Is the Ultimate Warrior really from Bozeman? Are rumors true that he played Bobcat Football in the early 80's before joinging the WWF?
