Sounds like a recipe for starting militias to me. I agree the recession is hurting many people but I'm very curious what you mean when you say “move to the forest” and “start over”, and what you think that will accomplish. |

Not So bad...

| According to the recent unemployment report (see today's paper), our fare county is almost 4 points below the national unemployment average. In 2009, I hired and still employ 3 FTE's, and we have more work than we know what to do with. My wife's business is just as busy as ever and they also hired a dozen folks over the past year. | |

for you

| it may not be so bad for you and your wife, but it is bad for a lot of people. The company I work for has laid off around ten or twelve people over the last year, and I know quite a few people who are unemployed and can't seem to find work. | |

Try a church. Most have support groups. They love to talk about how people are feeling. Why move to the forest? |

| I just got in touch with my inner self and my inner self told me support groups aren't going to pull us out of this recession. I know a few underemployed people and I have yet to hear one tell me he or she needs a support group. I have heard a few say something about increasing and improving their employment, and that's what they seem to be working on. Maybe they can pick up hours if others head off to the forest. | |

If you want a real support group,

Oh Eddie, you are such a typical guy.... Anyway, What you guys have to do is educate yourselves about our political leaders so that you will be more informed about who to vote for in 2010 and 2012. Research your political leaders. Don't fall for the smoke and mirrors of Prez Hopey Changey. Ride your senators' and congressmens' keisters to stand up for American ideals and concerns of their constituants rather than their lobbyist friends and relatives/girlfriends. Educate yourselves. And if you can't get work in Bozeman, you might have to move for a while. Either coast has work. Maybe you don't like it, but you will get work. The southeast, Texas, they are doing a little better too. NY isn't that great, but in my field I found work here. ANd that's what happened to me. I didn't want to leave Bozeman but you don't always get to do everything you want in this life. If I have to wait until I retire to come back, then I will. At least I have a roof over my head and food on the table |

Running away into the forest is not going to fix anything! You gotta get yourself motivated and start doing something about it. Waiting for the government or other people to fix your problems is not going to get you anywhere! By the way, you may want to check your spelling too. |
