PANHANDLING - PART 2

Try this...Tell the panhandler you'll give them $5 in exchange for their sign. You'll have a souvenier, and even a pre-made sign in the event that you fall on hard times.

It seems only fair. You both get something out of the deal.

Think about it next time.

Creative Sign Language byAlphaBeagle June 29, 2009 (2 votes) (report abuse) (reply)
From the look on this guy's face, he's reaped plenty of verbal abuse. I wonder if he might try a new approach. How about:

Will Work for Fried Liver.
(Although some might interpret this as "Will Use the Money for Drink").

Will not Work for Food.
(Those that never read carefully will quickly skip over this sign, and think they read something else).

Will Work for the City.
(Apparently, with the number of people unhappy with city hiring policies, he won't really have to worry about getting a job).

I'm sure that there are those of you out there with interesting ideas for a new sign. Let's hear them!

Maybe they can get a free lunch from the city if they meet with Jeff Rupp to talk about housing issues!

Peace

That's a good one - a lot of future unemployed teachers might find it useful. ;}
Finally, a light hearted thread! byshane June 30, 2009 (2 votes) (report abuse) (reply)
My favorite (seen on some other website):

"Ninjas killed my family. Need money for karate lessons."
How 'bout this? byAlphaBeagle July 01, 2009 (1 votes) (report abuse) (reply)
"Will participate in green log gay rolling contest for money". (Maybe it's too confusing?). "Green rolling gay log contest..." nope, uh, "Rolling gay green log contest . . ." aw, cornshucks!
this is a good one bylamphier1 July 02, 2009 (1 votes) (report abuse) (reply)
How bout this " I am not going to lie, I need a beer. and my dog needs a bite to eat.." I would even give them a buck then.....

Honesty is always the best policy, I think.
