I wish to speak. i wish to speak honestly and rationally. I am no longer interested in discussions about our government. It's not working
and hasn't been working for a very long time. It no longer serves the
people.It serves it's self.
i'm not in a rage the young anarchist in me long gone.okay, mostly long gone.I am an observer.I have been an observer since the fateful day they gathered us in history class and we read The Declaration of Independence.It seemed crystal clear to that small girl .The adults were angry and agreed the country was not being run well. It would change.

The girl grew and began to see why so little had changed.This part does not matter. The part that matters to me is political parties or
machines if you will are not important to me as an American.How it works now is not important to me. What i want to talk about is completely,intelligently, redesigning our poltical system so that it and us may live.
I am tempted to condescend to rhetoric,speak of change,compare us to the Roman empire,think of the children. These phrases, these sound bites, mean so little .It is not working and it is our birthright to create something that just might.I fantasize that no blood should be shed in the creating of our new goverment.The truth is some part of me believes it will all end in tears.Yet, i can't back down, the only next rational step is complete redesign of our goverment.Our goverment has
become an impossible tangled mess.How many of us would run our homes,our business, our lives in such manner, given a choice?
I see the collective pot does not work.Goverment as our parental figure does not work. Goverment too far displaced from the people it serves does not work. I am alluding to much of the federal goverment
being dismissed and/or reassigned to foreign relations.I am expecting
people to govern themselves on a more local level.i would wish for people to keep a great deal of their personal incomes.Then we shall
be tested.Will we hoard every cent? Will we take our money and take care of ourselves and our neighbors? Will we set up non-profit organizations and give to charity so that in our country no one goes without? It is far easier too bicker over a communal pot. Then we are not responsible. This cannot go on, we will die,our country will die!
This does not have to be.
I don't want to talk about our goverment anymore until i hear someone say it must be redesigned.

Our elected officials make most of the decisions. They also make certain that their friends and relatives are recipients of the "spoils" that come with public office.

Our mayor and commissioner's are a good example of this. Literally, they are theives in the night.

There. I said it....now we can talk about it. Unfortunately it will be very difficult to make it better at this point. That is likely the reason our parents didn't try either, and now the powerhold of corruption is stronger than ever. So do we do something or nothing? I think it's a very important question to ask, each of ourselves. Stop and ask yourself just how far are we away from tyranny and martial law at this point? Certainly far closer than we were just 20 years ago! I would say a complete recall of all government officials is in order, right down to the mayors, sherriffs, judges, even city councils and school boards. Eliminate many positions, fill the others the old fashioned way, with paper ballots counted by humans with lots of witnesses! It would be a true test of what is really left of our morality, as some who are well qualified to lead but don't have any real desire to would be called upon to step up and serve. Others, who long to lead for egotistical reasons, would need to step back for a change, because most of them know deep down the wrongness of corruption. It would sure take a lot of hard prayers and strong personal morality from us all. Hey, come to think of it, that's exactly what we were warned was the only thing that could support this type of government.......Prayers, Faith and Good Behaviour! Founding Fathers told us!
