"Amway" changes name to "Reliv"

I don't know about you, but I don't think it's necessary to
buy "mail-order" health food!

Recently I was approached by a "Reliv" person, at my place of work, of course offering a lesser schedule at more $$$.
The nerve of someone, entering another's business and trying to persuade an employee to venture into a "Pyramid scheme".

Guess who is at it with this stuff again!!!

I once worked with an Optometrist who couldn't focus well on the business at hand, she even took on exam's at an out of town Optician's and did poorly.
What the big idea as thing's were failing...

...selling AMWAY cookies!!!

I was basically getting paid for doing very little, and so were several other's.
That's why the place is now a pawn shop and the Optmet is somewhere other than here out of embarassment.

Also known as Quixtar!! Still acts a lot like a cult. Weirdest MLM group I've ever encountered.

Their get-togethers involve chanting, singing, testimonials and other inspirational stuff. A friend and her husband were invited to one of these. They got spooked and snuck out the back. A couple we've known for years got involved and wanted to get us in, too. The crazy thing was that they would tell us they had a great business opportunity for us but refused to tell us what company it was until we went to a meeting. Needless to say, we refused to go. If you're not upfront, I won't get involved, no matter how great your products are.

... there are still dimwits!!!

I guess their motto is, "There's a sucker born every minute!!!"

I guess they just want to keep "RELIV'ing" the past!!!

Many years ago an old room mate paged me while I was at work in a meeting. He had the gall to ask if I was interested in making a lot of money by jumping on board the pyramid scheme called Amway. He was totally stoked. It only involved a $5K investment and a full-time commitment.

I don't talk to that guy anymore.
