does anyone ever care anymore

i want to know if there is anyone that cares anymore about somone they have never seen or met but just becuase they were asked to help no strings attached. Or is it just my parents that were raised that way.

Everyone needs help. But it is the kind of help that should be in question. For example, are you really helping a homeless person to get food, or alcohol, when you give them money? Perhaps you should just buy them a meal, not give them money that they might use to get drunk. I don't mean to imply all homeless people are alcoholics - they are not. I am just trying to use an illustration to show that we need to think about the KIND of help we give people. Some help, however well intentioned, is the wrong kind of help and can actually hurt the people we intend to help. However, I am glad that you have parents that have raised you to care about others. You will make this world a better place - if you carefully consider the kind of help you give to others.
