Cell Phones Out The Door

In the workplace we are told to turn our phones off or to put them on vibrate...what about the repeat offenders who "accidentally" leave them on for us to "enjoy" their new favorite tune? Should we tar and feather them on Main Street?

I understand accidentally leaving it on, but there are repeat offenders. I guess if that's the case, at least have something that everyone can sing along to.

Turn it off! Even if you are just hanging out with friends, having the phone ringing shows you don't really care to show respect to making your friend the most important thing in your life at that moment! I say tar and feather them!!

I agree, it is a matter of respect. There is a time and place, when you are alone. Tar and feather!

Where cell phones can really come in handy is when you are walking down the street and approach someone you really don't want to talk to. The cell phone comes out of the pocket quicker than Annie Oakley could draw her pistol.
This happens all the time when I'm seen by one of my kids friends.

And soon, we'll be lucky enough to get to listen to a plane full of people chat it up next to us. I will miss the one respite from the all important cell phoner.
