Oh well I don't have anything to hide, so why should I care? THINK ABOUT IT, THEN MAKE THE CALL, DO IT FOR THE CHILDREN; SORRY DIDN'T MEAN TO SOUND LIKE A POLITICIAN. I AM REALLY GETTING TIRED OF THIS IN MY FACE GOVRNMENT FROM THE DISTRICT OF CRIMINALS.

Tomorrow is the big day for two groups to march downtown. We will see who is the more "civil" and "supportive" of everyone's right to assembly and free speech. I would love for the GCGLJ to prove me wrong - in fact I CHALLENGE them to do so - by not shouting down our Tea Party group as we assemble on the steps of the courthouse to hear speakers and cheer them on. Come on, GCGLJ, let's just see if you can stand by peaceably and quietly, and allow others their time and place to exercise their free speech rights!

White supremacists and neo-Nazi hate groups plan to take advantage of the anti-tax “Tea Parties” set to occur in more than 1,000 cities and localities over the July 4 holiday weekend to disseminate racist fliers and other materials and attempt to recruit others to their cause, according to the Anti-Defamation League (ADL).

Working as a cashier at a grocery store you quickly become aware of all the things people buy. The one thing that saddens me, and worries me is how many people purchase alcohol. It's everywhere and I really don't think people realize the effects of alcohol. I just wish people were more aware of the effects of alcohol. It seems like people think alcohol is all fun it games, but it's really not.
It's been about a year and a half now since my dad lost his brother due to alcoholism. I just want to say that you make...

The worst thing that could possibly happen to a family happened to us. There were papers delivered ( or served) to our rental in Belgreade. The papers clearly stated that the rental that we had been living in was not just up for foreclosure but auction. We had 3 children in the house and could not believe that this could happen to us. Thank goodness that we were able to find a house the same day and begin moving out. The whole situation made me sick to my stomach. Within 72 hours we had to find a house and move. No notice nothing. We were then informed that the only recourse that...

So I read in today's newspaper (July 1st) that the Coalition of Green Gay Loggers may fall about 350 bucks short of the fee they need to pay for street closure. And that if Brian Leland doesn't raise that amount he will give what he has raised to the Gallatin Valley Food Bank. I think you are digging yourself a hole here, Mr. Leland. In as much as I think your parade would be very fun, I think a better use of my extra hard earned highly taxes income would in fact be towards a donation to the Food Bank. So good for you in thinking of the Food Bank as a place to donate the funds if the march doesn't go off. ...

we've already covered our feelings on submitting social networking info to employers, but what about your credit report? i know 2 people that work for banks where having good credit is a requirement for employment.
generally, i think the credit reporting policies are in need of an overhaul. one little typo, and it's on your report forever. mine contains variations of my name, birthdate, and ssn. my husband has a very common name and his report is even more screwed up.
i don't think my credit report is my employer's business, but i haven't heard many pros/cons from others. any thoughts?

Good job commission; to begin with we have a city charter and tonight you applied the wisdom of it to a difficult situation. Watching this event tonight made me happy to be a citizen in Bozeman. Now that we got the right decision we have to get the right person for the investigation.

Try this...Tell the panhandler you'll give them $5 in exchange for their sign. You'll have a souvenier, and even a pre-made sign in the event that you fall on hard times.
It seems only fair. You both get something out of the deal.
Think about it next time.

I seldom agree with Rupp on issues but on the "big Spy" scandal he and Bryson are on the right track. The tip of the iceBerg is all we see. Commissioners please expose the rest of the iceBerg before the ice melts. Sweet Lily sounds like you work for the city, the time to unite is right. Show up on Monday night.

I think Michael Jackson has had more impact and infulence on soceity in death than he could have in life. I'm not a cable news junkie but for the past 3 days every time I turn on the news on the tube whether it's Fox or MNBC, it's been a steady diet of Michael, Michael, Michael. His death may be newsworthy but not news consuming. Anyone getting tired of this? What makes us this way that we can set everything else aside to dwell on this like we, the media (and Jesse Jackson) are doing? I guess this post isn't helping, as it draws still more attention to Michael, but I am curious on why this is. ...

Monday night the commission is expected to announce an investigation into the city hiring policy. Workers need to show up and request the commission to expand the investigation to include employee profiling. Ask them to let city workers testify about their experiences with the Human Resources...

Anyone have any construction woe tales to share? Our house has severe structural defects - like missing footers and headers. This has been a nightmare of several years. I have heard from folks around the state who have problems and end up in court spending their entire savings and going into debt just to try to get a fraction ofthe money they shouldget.
